Locksmith Museum
Intimate museum with magnificent collections.
The management wanted an interactive exhibition with a touchscreen panel and a monitor displaying content chosen by visitors to be placed in a small hall serving as the museum's vestibule. The lack of space on the walls meant that in the cramped interior, we couldn't find a suitable, ergonomic location for the devices. The comfort and natural distance of visitors operating the touchscreen panel contrasted with the places where the monitor, on which visitors were to receive their chosen content, could be hung.
In the hall, there were doors leading to the museum staff area. We replaced them from wooden to glass doors. We covered them with a film allowing rear projection and installed a projector in a space inaccessible to visitors, on the other side of the glass doors. The only physical object left in the hall is a small touchscreen panel.
The image is displayed vertically, for which we prepared the content. The effect of the audiovisual interactive exhibition is splendid. Minimum space and maximum benefits.
