Meissen porcelain at the Royal Castle on Wawel Hill
February 2024 Poland, Krakow
Wawel Royal Castle,
Meissen Porcelain Exhibition
The first permanent exhibition implemented by Wawel took a departure from traditional labels beneath the exhibits.
They were replaced by a multimedia exhibition created by M3tech. The exhibition features a four-level menu, and together with the museum, we placed the highest emphasis on its intuitive and simple operation for visitors.
The exhibition occupies three rooms where showcases of various sizes are arranged, each containing exhibits. The first layer of the interactive exhibition consists of specific rooms, one of three depending on the location where the visitor operates the exhibition. At this level, visitors determine which collection (showcase) interests them. The second level is a specific showcase where they choose a group, such as a set composed of a spoon, saucer, and cup.
On the third level, they specify a particular exhibit, and on the fourth level, they obtain information about the object of interest.
